Do you accept new clients?

Absolutely! We are always excited to meet new pets and their families in the Mobile area. Because we are now a fully mobile practice, we suggest contacting us in advance to ensure your home falls within our service radius and to secure a spot in our travel route.

What are the benefits of a mobile vet visit?

The biggest advantage is reduced stress. By eliminating the car ride and the clinical sights and smells of a waiting room, your pet stays relaxed in their own environment. It’s also incredibly convenient for multi-pet households, senior pets with mobility issues, and busy owners who want to avoid the hassle of commuting to a clinic.

How should I prepare my home and pet for the visit?

To make the most of our time together, please:

  • Contain your pet: For cats, please place them in a small room (like a bathroom) 15–20 minutes before we arrive so they don’t hide under a bed. For dogs, please have them leashed or in a confined area.
  • When we arrive, we will contact you and ask for you to bring your pet out to the Exam room of our state of the art mobile unit. All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier, please.
  • Gather Records: Have any previous medical history or current medications ready for review.

What are your mobile fees?

Our house call fee includes the first pet’s physical exam and ranges from $100 – $150 depending on your location. If you have multiple pets, additional exams during the same visit are discounted to $50 – $75. This fee covers our travel and the personalized, one-on-one time Dr. Bentley spends with your pet.

Can you perform surgeries in the mobile unit?

Yes! Our mobile unit is equipped for essential surgical procedures, specifically Spay/Neuter and Dental cleanings/extractions. For more complex or emergency surgeries, we will refer you to a stationary surgical center.

What diagnostics do you offer on the road?

We bring the lab to you! We offer in-home Ultrasounds, blood work, and other diagnostic testing. This allows us to get fast results in the comfort of your home, which often leads to more accurate readings as the pet’s vitals aren’t elevated by “white coat syndrome.”

Do you offer in-home euthanasia?

Yes. Providing a peaceful, dignified end-of-life experience is a core part of our mission. We offer euthanasia both inside your home or within our private mobile unit. For additional support and hospice resources, we highly recommend our partners at Rainbow At Home.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express). We also proudly accept CareCredit to help ensure your pet gets the care they need. We do not offer in-house payment plans at this time.

Do you treat aggressive Pets?

Unfortunately, due to the space constraints of our mobile veterinary hospital unit, we are unable to treat aggressive pets.

What if my pet has an emergency?

We do not provide emergency or urgent care services. Because we are a mobile unit frequently in transit, we cannot provide the immediate triage required for life-threatening situations. If your pet is in crisis, please proceed immediately to MedVet Mobile or Gulf Coast Vet. See our Emergency page for details.
