Meet Dr. Angela Bentley
DVM, Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine
Born and raised right here in Mobile, Alabama, Dr. Angela Bentley has dedicated her life to the health and well-being of our community’s pets. A proud 1991 graduate of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Bentley returned to her roots to begin her career, eventually purchasing Loop Veterinary Hospital in 1993.
A Legacy of Care, Reimagined
For over three decades, Dr. Bentley provided exceptional care at her traditional practice. However, her observations of pet behavior and owner needs led her to envision a more compassionate way to deliver medicine.
In 2016, she founded Rainbow At Home, a specialized in-home euthanasia service. This initiative was born from a deep-seated belief that a pet’s final moments—and their most vulnerable moments—should occur in an environment where they feel safe and loved, free from the clinical stress of a hospital setting.
The Move to Mobile
In 2026, after 33 years of traditional practice, Dr. Bentley made the visionary decision to convert Loop Veterinary Hospital into a fully mobile veterinary service.
“My goal has always been to provide quality medicine with the least amount of stress possible. By bringing the hospital to the driveway, we eliminate the anxiety of the car ride and the waiting room, allowing for a more focused, one-on-one connection between the vet, the owner, and the pet.”
Today, Dr. Bentley is proud to offer the same high-standard veterinary care she has been known for since 1993, now delivered with the convenience and comfort that only a mobile unit can provide. When she isn’t on the road helping patients, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, John, and their five children, as well as their house full of rescue animals.
